VOWOL, for lack of a better word, is good.

Union Loop Group?
Website?
BillyBobVO weekend?
Free content!

Our best in the booth series has been going swimmingly well. We're closing in on the last few weeks with a few agents, after meeting some top directors and loop group people. (If you are union and have done loop group, PLEASE email me roy@vowol.com with contact information so I can pass your name on appropriately!)

In addition to improv classes, most directors, agents, and other people who hire (or can get you hired) ask for a website presence. There are links to voice123.com and voices.com that you can set up for free - but adding credit lists, direct contact, and download-able demos requires something a bit more.

While I've maintained vowol for over 2 years, during the dry times I do web design -- specifically allowing clients to be able to easily change their own website as things change (images, video, sound files like demos, and of course text!). Some recent examples:

http://laurencewalsh.com
http://fricknawesome.com

Specifically in times like these, it's best to be as prepared as possible when opportunities come up. Please find a web designer, and if you are interested in talking with me about ideas or design, I'd love to give you a little consult. My heart is in voice over, and this is a playful spillover.

Next event is the weekend http://billybobvo.com coming up in March. I was approached by two actors in New York already who have RSVP'ed and are attending. Love to have you join us; it's a value at any point in your game.

As proof, listen in on the audio links below to voicebank.net for some amazingly solid information from Bob Bergen and Bill Holmes and Joyce Castellanos. (Thanks Tracy!)
